#4952 – Walk Together

Good morning people who do life with other faithful brothers and sisters in Christ.

Colossians 4:9 NIV He is coming with Onesimus, our faithful and dear brother, who is one of you. They will tell you everything that is happening here.

Tychicus went with Onesimus and together they talked to the church in Colossae.

In life, together is better. God created us for relationship. God Himself exists in relationship – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and we are created in His image and it’s His intention that we live life with others.

In our world of isolation and living online, I want to encourage you today that you need others and they need you. This is not a one-way thing; this is a two-way street.

But choose wisely who you walk with.

The name Onesimus means profitable and useful. Now, that’s a nice name. And Paul called him a faithful and dear brother.

This is the kind of person we should endeavour to walk with.

My prayer is that we are all profitable and useful in the kingdom of God and that our lives point people to Jesus.

I also pray that we are a strength and a source of encouragement to each other – mutually blessed as we walk together towards the Father.
