#4924 – Christ in All

Good morning people who join with others in finding your identity in Christ.

Colossians 3:11 NIV Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

In this time when people are being categorised into different groups, it is important to know that our identity in Christ trumps every other man-imposed label.

In Paul’s time, there were different classes of people. This was a serious issue, to the point that people hated those of another group and they would not associate with them.

The early church faced this issue as ignorant believers still held to different classes of people. So, Paul wrote and declared, Christ is all, and is in all.

In other words, it’s all about Jesus, and He lives in every person who calls upon His name. Every believer is our brother or sister.

In these days of vaccinated and unvaccinated, we would do well in the body of Christ to do better at heeding the words of Paul: Christ is all, and is in all.
