Good morning people who have been saved from the power of the enemy.

Colossians 1:13-14 NIV For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

The dominion of darkness – the power and authority of darkness in people’s lives – is in the deception that causes a person to think that life outside of Christ is an acceptable and even commendable way to live. It is not.

Once the truth of the gospel of the kingdom of God is revealed to the hearts of people, the dominion of darkness is broken! Truth breaks the power of darkness!

The light of God’s love in our hearts is the answer to the power of darkness that pervades the world. Good works is not the answer – the good news is the answer!

Two thousand years ago, Jesus came as the light of the world. In His life, death and resurrection, the authority of the devil and his reign of darkness was defeated and replaced by the re-established rule of God on earth through God’s sons and daughters!

Today, the enemy would love us to believe that he is still ruling. He is not!

So I boldly declare that God has rescued us from the dominion of darkness!! Hallelujah!
