Good morning people who follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Psalms 23:3 NIV He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

The right paths that bring God glory and that honour His name, are paths that the Lord wants to guide us along. This is wonderful.

When people go on a trek or a hike into difficult terrain that they have not previously been on, an experienced guide can make all the difference.

Jesus Christ has walked through life, faced temptations, overcome attacks from the devil, held His tongue against accusers, persevered under immense suffering and pain, relied upon the Holy Spirit for power and wisdom and faced anything that we will ever face.

And He won! He was victorious! He honoured His Father in heaven in every situation!

This Jesus, our Jesus, through the person of the Holy Spirit who lives in us, promised to ‘lead us into all truth’. He is our guide!

So, we don’t have to work it all out. We don’t have to know what is coming around the next corner. We don’t need to have all the words before they are needed. We don’t have to have a clear and precise plan for every step we will ever take.

We simply need to trust the one who is leading us in love.

When God is our guide, we won’t get lost.
