Good morning people who let the fruit of your lives speak loudly.

Matthew 11:18-19 NIV For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.

John and Jesus did some things that were opposite of each other. These were natural decisions involving what they ate and drank, and also about who they spent time with.

People had different opinions about what they did and they judged them by their opinions.

Yet Jesus said that wisdom is proved right by her deeds. In the KJV, this reads wisdom is justified of her children.

Children are the fruit of our lives, and Jesus is saying, wisdom is seen by what it produces.

Therefore, don’t worry about people judging an action or a decision that you make that is different to what they would do. Rather, let the fruit of your life speak for itself.

John prepared the way for the Lord, and Jesus was the way to the Father. Both of their lives proved the wisdom of God through the fruit of their lives.
