Good morning people whose lives and lips testify about the goodness of God.
Psalms 57:9-10 NIV I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
A couple of days ago we talked about God being exalted and His glory covering all the earth.
How does this happen?
By us – the children of God – praising and singing to our indescribable Lord, yes, even during times of incredible difficulty and challenge. Remember, David wrote this while on the run for his life from Saul who was trying to kill him.
The prisoners who were with Paul and Silas heard them worshipping God. This is the key!
Private worship is glorious and beautiful to God. But there is something compelling to the world when we publicly praise God regardless of what we are going through.
Do your life and your lips worship God as much in the world as they do in the church?
