Good morning purpose-driven Christ-followers

Philippians 1:25-26 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.

Paul said he knew he would stay on this side of the grave for awhile longer and knew it was for the sake of others. Paul was very clear on his purpose and he was focused on the affect his life would have on others.

Paul’s life was lived to see other people progress in life, to see them joyful in their faith and to see their joy in Christ Jesus overflow. His life was lived for others and for the glory of God. Paul gave his life to bless others and their relationship with God.

I am so inspired by the life of Paul. What a God-honouring and people-building life. What an example of living life beyond ourselves. Paul lived life in light of the following.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body.

We should live with the same focus.
