Good morning people who walk with an unchanging God

Philippians 4:8 NIV Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

The word admirable is the phrase of a good report in the KJV, and this means well spoken of, reputable.

The only One who is truly worthy of always being well spoken of and who has a perfect reputation is God Himself.

People at times act “out of character”; we do things that we wouldn’t normally do or that go against our values.

But not so God!

His track record is perfect! His ways are perfect! His Word is flawless! His truth is unchangeable! His character is dependable! Our God is completely admirable!

Some may argue that God’s character is not perfect because of what “God did” or because of what “God didn’t do.” I too have questions, and some of these questions are apparent contradictions to what I know.

But our perceptions do not mean that there is something wrong with God!! Not at all! In fact, this is impossible!

The problem for me (and for many others) is that we see in part and know in part. In other words, we have limited knowledge and incomplete perspective.

So today, let’s land in the right place: God is admirable and He is worthy of thinking about continually.
