Good morning people who trust in the deconstruction of God’s plan

Acts 16:26 NIV Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

In order to be set free, sometimes we need the foundations of where we find ourselves to be so violently shaken that something shifts.

Sometimes we will remain in our prison unless something significant happens. The reality is, sometimes that significant event is a seemingly devastating event.

God is not the author of many of the events that He gets blamed for. In fact, sometimes He is the One trying to get our attention while we ignore Him and plough ahead into tragedy.

Yet, even in these times, they can be redeemed by God to be the very catalyst to shake the foundations of the prison where we find ourselves.

Here’s a phrase I hear the Spirit say: “The intention of the shaking is the deliverance of God’s people.”

May we see God’s purpose in what we are going through.
