Good morning people who obey until the task is completed
Hebrews 11:7 NIV By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
The right combination of faith and holy fear will result in obedience to what God has said.
A lack of obedience shows either a lack of faith or a lack of holy fear.
Noah had both, and so he obeyed what God told him to do. Even though he had reason to question this new thing that God spoke of, he obeyed.
And this obedience from Noah didn’t last for a few days, a few weeks, a few months, or even a few years. Noah obeyed God through to completion of the task, and this took many decades.
How often do we stop short of completion of what God told us to do?
Noah’s obedience to God saved his family.
Our obedience to God might also be the very thing that saves our family too.
