#4607 – Faith Pleases God

Good morning people who live for the pleasure and smile of God

Hebrews 11:5-6 NIV By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Faith pleases God. A lack of faith does not.

Too often we buy into the lie that says God is pleased by what we do or by how much we do.

Now, the Bible makes it clear in the Parable of the Talents, that God expects us to use the gifts He has given us for His glory. Laziness does not please God. Fruitfulness does.

But we must have a deeper revelation that it is not the quantity of what we do that pleases God, but it is the presence and centrality of faith that pleases Him, regardless of what we are doing.
