#4606 – Leaving in Faith

Good morning people who leave this life full of faith in our faithful God

Hebrews 11:5 NIV By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

God wants us living in faith, and leaving in faith.

Enoch did not die; God took him home while he was still alive. This is an awesome story, one that is not often told.

But we must not miss the important part of this verse: Enoch was in faith when he left this earth.

Many have faith for a season.

But when life gets tough, when the prayers aren’t answered, when the loved one walks away, when the friend betrays, when the pain won’t stop, do we stay in faith?

Faith sounds impossibly difficult at times. However, we need to remind ourselves what faith is actually about.

Faith is having an unshakeable, confident trust in God. It’s not about outcomes, and nor is it contingent on what others do.

I want to live in faith. I also want to leave in faith.

How about you?
