Good morning people who have a confident trust in Almighty God

Hebrews 11:1 NIV Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Christians are known as people of faith, and this indeed is who we are called to be.

But is this how we are living?

Thoughts, emotions, logic, scheming, trying, striving, manipulating, managing, controlling, safeguarding, minimising risk, doubting – sometimes these define us more than faith does (I’m just being brutally honest, even with myself).

But this is not God’s way; it’s not the Biblical example given to us repeatedly by those commended for their faith.

So, I believe God is directing me to take some time to step through Hebrews 11, and as we do, I believe the Holy Spirit is going to reveal the truth about our faith.

If you are in a challenging time, God wants you to have faith now. If you are on a mountaintop, God wants you to have faith now.

I believe this is a now word. In fact, that’s where we start in this verse: Now faith…and this is exactly what God wants now in our lives – faith.
