#4586 – The Father & Jesus

Good morning people who enjoy relationship with Jesus and the Father

1 John 2:23 NIV No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

You cannot separate your love for the Father and your love for Jesus; you cannot love One and not the Other.

Many religions today claim to “Love God”, and some of them even profess to love the God of the Old Testament; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Yet these same people either hate Jesus and His followers, or reduce Him to just a prophet. They are deceived and they do not know God at all.

Saul of Tarsus passionately was committed to a religion that was based on the Old Testament. He believed in and devoted himself zealously to God. Yet he passionately and vehemently persecuted the Church and attacked and murdered those who followed Jesus.

When he encountered Jesus and asked who He was, Jesus replied, “I am Jesus who you are persecuting.” That moment of revelation changed everything in Saul’s life, and we are all reaping the benefits of Paul’s writings and life still today.

It must always be Jesus and the Father, otherwise it is neither.
