Good morning people who show your love for God by your obedience

1 John 2:3-6 NIV We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

We cannot separate knowing God from obeying God.

Our knowledge of scripture is not a measure of our love for God.

Our serving at church is not a measure of our love for God.

Our obedience to all that God has said is a measure of our love for and knowledge of God.

Jesus knew and loved His Father perfectly, and He demonstrated it by completing all that He gave Him to do.

Now we are instructed to live like Jesus did if we claim to live in Him.

True Christianity is not a benefits program with no responsibility.

True Christianity is about knowing God in ever-increasing measure, which results in loving Him more than ever, which results in a love response of total obedience to all that He says.

So, how is your obedience to what God is saying?
