#4579 – Seeing God

Good morning people who are privileged to see God at work

1 John 1:1 NIV That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

God is always visible.

Creation itself testifies about the God who perfectly called it into existence. People who were once enslaved in sin and despair, who are now free in mind and spirit, are physical signposts to the goodness of God.

I believe the evidence of God is all around us. Many times, it is in the most simple and beautiful ways, yet it is often missed because it is not how we would expect it to be.

The Jews missed the Messiah who was right in front of them, because He did not come with force and ascend a human throne in conquest.

How often do we miss seeing Jesus because we believe He will or He should look like or appear as something different?

As you walk through your day today, I encourage you to look up and to look out as you look for the evidence of the Word of Life who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
