#4570 – Prioritise Church

Good morning people who love the Bride of Jesus Christ

I know that the Church is the people of God, not a building. But the truth is, that the Church is also the gathering together of believers which is often done in a “Church” building.

So, today, my encouragement for this year is simple and very clear. In fact, it is stated perfectly in the following scripture:

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

COVID has made many Christians comfortable watching Church online at home where they can relax. It is less effort. And we can do something else if we are not that interested.

If this thought enters our mind, then we don’t understand the spiritual reality of what happens when ‘two or three people gather together.’

This is not a time to succumb to complacency and casual Christianity. This is a time to prioritise meeting with other believers, and to do so in a way that we stir our faith and expectation that something is going to happen, and that we are going to be a part of what God is doing.

So, will you prioritise going to Church this year and actively be involved in what God is doing?
