Good morning people who recognise the origin of the voice by the fruit in your life

2021 is a year of stepping in.

A saturation in God’s Word is the best way to become familiar with His voice.

Upon this foundation, there is another way of identifying the origin of the voice we are hearing. It’s found in this verse:

Matthew 7:16-17 NIV By their fruit you will recognise them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

If the fruit of the voice that you are listening to and acting on is condemnation, guilt, shame, fear and confusion, then it is not God.

If the fruit of the voice that you are listening to and acting on is love, joy, peace and acceptance, then it is God.

It’s important to state again that the foundation for all of this is what God clearly says in His Word.

Also, I have found it very helpful to walk with godly people who have wisdom and discernment. In these conversations, confusion is replaced with clarity that comes through the doorway of truth.
