Good morning people who are expectant of good things in God next year

We are a few days away from leaving 2020 and stepping into 2021.

For many, 2020 was a year to forget. Actually, forgetting will not be easy as it was filled with so many twists and turns, challenges and difficulties.

But today, I hear the Lord say, “Don’t limp into 2021, leap into 2021.”

Such interesting language.

Yes, you might be weary, and that’s ok. Our God is the God of rest. So if you need rest, go to Him and rest in Him. Receive the refreshing that you need. From this available rest in God, let’s leap into 2021 and all that Father has pre-planned for us as His empowered children!

Yes, you might have disappointments because things didn’t eventuate as you believed they would. That’s ok, but don’t stop at this place. Move through it by handing it all to God and acknowledging His sovereignty over your life. Let’s be like Abraham and Sarah who believed the God who spoke the promises, even more than they put confidence in the promises. God has always been, and will always be trustworthy.

As we head towards a new year, it’s important to give every part of our life and our year to the Lord; the highs and the lows, the joy and the pain, the questions and the answers.

We can’t change what was, but we most certainly can anticipate and participate in what will be in God! It’s time to get ready to leap into 2021!
