Good morning sheep of the Good Shepherd

I am gripped by Psalm 23 and the depth of hope that it has in it for every person. We ‘know’ it, or at least know about it, but have we stopped, read it through slowly, meditated on it and allowed the Holy Spirit to speak its truth deep into our hearts? Let’s do that together over the next few days.

Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.

The Lord God Almighty, the One and Only, the Great I Am, the First and the Last, the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords; He is the One who is our Shepherd.

A shepherd is the carer of the flock and God is our Shepherd; we are His sheep. He protects us; He keeps us safe from harm. He guides us; He shows us the path and the road we must take. He comforts us; through the seasons He is with us
