#4477 – Being Sent Out

Good morning people who go into the world to connect people with God

Matthew 13:37-39 NIV He answered, The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.”

As I read this very well-known scripture, I had this thought: You don’t take a field to the seeds; you take seeds to a field.

The corporate gathering of the Church (something we long for these days) is called ‘the gathering together of the saints.’ This is a place of empowerment and deployment for those who are already Christians. From this place, we are ‘sent out into all the world to make disciples’.

God sows us into the world for the purpose of a great harvest.

Your place of employment is a field that God has planted you in. Your family is a field that God has planted you in. The sports team you play for is a field that God has planted you in. Your neighbourhood is a field that God has planted you in.

And your primary focus is not to invite them to Church, but to be the Church where they are at. You are the minister they need! You are the salt and the light! You are the signpost to God!
