Good morning people who position yourself to be blessed

Matthew 13:16 NIV But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.

There are many wrong definitions of blessing around today. Blessing has often been reduced to growth, health, expansion, change for the better, etc.

While all of these may at times be an evidence of blessing, none of them are the definition of blessing.

I could say many things today, but I want to simply state what I feel as I meditate on this single verse. Here it is for us all today:

I am blessed if my spiritual sight and my spiritual hearing is in tune with the Holy Spirit.

Please read this again and pause for a moment.

When I see as Father wants me to see and I hear what the Spirit is saying, I am blessed.

I don’t need a, “Yeah, but…” after this. I just need to desire this, position myself for this, and pursue this. Let me say it one more time:

I am blessed if my spiritual sight and my spiritual hearing is in tune with the Holy Spirit.

And so are you.
