Good morning people who win the war in the battlefield of your mind

Matthew 9:4 NIV Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?”

Thoughts happen in the mind, not the heart, yet Jesus spoke of ‘entertaining evil thoughts in your heart’.

Thinking a thought and entertaining a thought are two different things.

The enemy loves to shoot fiery darts into our minds. At this point, we are not defeated, but rather, this is a moment of decision. We can either ‘cast down every imagination and take it captive’, or we can allow it to set up rule in the real estate of our minds.

It’s only when we choose the later response (often by default), that a thought in our mind becomes an issue of our heart. And here’s the truth:

When a thought becomes a heart issue, there is a problem.

We need to deal with thoughts in the mind before they enter the heart and take root.

We need to be ruthless and reject the lies of the enemy and the temptations of the flesh.

We need to say NO to the enemy and YES to God.
