Good morning people with a good God

Did David see God’s evident goodness straight away? No. Many times we do not either. We continue doing the right thing and we wonder when will God show me His goodness? David made a statement that we need to hold on to also. He said this while he was still in a challenging situation.

Psalm 27:13 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

He was unshakeable. “I am confident” he said. “I WILL see the goodness of the Lord. I will not see it only in heaven but I will see it here on earth.” He believed this and he held onto it.

David said it again in a later chapter.

Psalm 31:19 How great is your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You bestow in the sight of men.

Psalm 27:13 needs to be a life anchor for many of you. There will be tough times and you need something to hold on to. Remind God what He has said and hold Him to it.
