Good morning people who drink deeply of all that God has for you

God says, “Come deep; drink in deep places.”

Psalms 23:1-2 NIV “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.”

On the surface, the statement above about drinking in deep places and being led beside quiet waters, don’t seem to go together. Normally we would think about quiet waters being shallow. But I feel God wants to get our attention today.

Nothing in God is shallow. Nothing in God is insufficient. Verse 1 of Psalm 23 tells us ‘that with God we lack nothing’. This is deep!

Therefore, if God is leading us beside quiet waters, this is a deep place of no lack because it is with Him and in Him!

Today, God wants to quiet your soul. He wants you to stop, to rest, to lean in. He wants you to be refreshed and whole. And this happens in the deep place of intimacy with our God.

Will you go there with Him today?
