Good morning people who wait patiently for the fulfilment of what God says

Revelation will not be rushed.

We are probably all guilty of wanting things right now; we don’t want to wait until later. “Hurry up!” is a common phrase, as is waiting for the microwave to finish those final few seconds. Think about that. A microwave is already taking a long oven cook and dramatically reducing the time we need to wait. But even that is not quick enough!

This mindset can easily translate into our desire to receive revelation from God immediately too. It can also translate into our desire for the revelation we have received to come to pass as soon as possible. This is not necessarily wrong, but it is not always helpful and it is not always how it is.

The following scripture speaks to this powerfully. Take time now to slowly meditate on it and ask Holy Spirit if He wants to say anything to you. Then stop and listen.

Habakkuk 2:3 NIV “For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
