Good morning people who sometimes get overwhelmed by life’s challenges
When you realise you are lost, it is easier to recognise that you are on the wrong track than it is to find the right track. Many times you need to be found.
Luke 19:10 NIV For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
While we were lost sinners, Jesus initiated our salvation. He found us, He called us, He redeemed us! He put us on the right path.
Once saved, we can still find ourselves lost at times. Questions, fears, doubts, hurts can make us lose our way. We realise we are off track, and we feel stuck and alone.
So, what should we do?
- Keep communicating with God.
This sounds so simple, yet it is often the first thing to go when life is difficult. Use challenges as fuel to go deeper with God. If you are unsure of what to pray, start with, “I need You Father.” Humility is an incredible key to moving forward with God. The most important thing is to keep talking to God and listening to Him through His Word and by His Spirit.
- Keep in community with mature Believers.
In Melbourne where I live, we are in physical isolation because of the coronavirus. As a result, people are in online community more now than ever before. Unfortunately, too often the online connections are not always helpful. Yes, we were created for community, but we really need to ensure we are intentionally connecting with people who do us good; people who walk with us towards God.
These two keys won’t instantly make everything better, but they will help us walk forward in a healthy way.
