#4391 – The Army Wins

Good morning people who have enlisted in the army of God

Similar to what we talked about yesterday, here is the next thing I feel:

Directing the troops in battle is focused on the army winning, not on just an individual winning.

I want the Church of Jesus Christ to be seen as the triumphant Bride that it is called to be! I want the Church to shine brightly, and I want to see Hebrews 1:3 become the reality of Jesus’ Church:

Hebrews 1:3a NIV The Son is the radiance of Gods glory and the exact representation of his being…

This is who we are called to be!

As the Church, we need to fight the right enemy and we need to fight together. Our war is not against people, and not even against the sin in people’s lives. There has been too much militancy against people and even against sin. Sin is a symptom, not the enemy.

Our enemy is Satan and the demons of hell. Our enemy is a spiritual one, and the primary weapon we are called to use against him is fervent prayer! One person praying is powerful, but an army praying together, against a common enemy, for the glory of God – now that’s unstoppable!!!!

It’s time for us to put aside our petty differences, our desire to be right and our focus on what we are building. It’s time to unite under the one banner of Jesus Christ, get His heart for the lost, broken and dying world, and pray for them as one and love them and each other as one.

This is how the army of God wins!
