#4345 – Predisposed Spirit

Good morning people who pray fully alive by the Spirit of God

Let’s look at one more beautiful truth from this verse today:

Mark 14:38 NIV Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Have a look with me at what these words mean.

Spirit: ‘the word used for the Holy Spirit’

Willing: ‘predisposed, ready’

Flesh: ‘the body as opposed to the soul or spirit’

Weak: ’strengthless’

While our body is strengthless (hence the reason we sometimes succumb to tiredness in prayer), the Holy Spirit of the living God Who is fully alive in us is predisposed to prayer and ready for action!!!

Oh, come on somebody!!

Now, I am not saying this makes praying always easy, but I believe that a revelation that the Spirit of God in us is always ready to pray with us to the Father is an empowerment like no other!

I encourage you to meditate on this truth today.
