#4341 – Opportunities

Good morning people who intentionally look for opportunities to bless people

The following scripture is a sad and sobering scripture, but in it, I saw the reverse opportunity that is available for each of us. Let me show you what I mean.

Mark 14:10-11 NIV Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them. They were delighted to hear this and promised to give him money. So he watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

Judas was a chosen disciple of Jesus, yet here we read that he is watching for an opportunity to betray the Son of God. It’s devastating.

As I was meditating on it, I was challenged with this question from the Holy Spirit:

What am I watching for an opportunity to do?

I knew He was talking about this in the positive, not the negative.

People everyday need to be encouraged, blessed and pointed towards God.

Am I watching for an opportunity to do this?

I’ll leave you with this scripture of focus and encouragement:

Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
