Good morning people who discover God in the quiet place

1 Samuel 3:21 NIV The Lord continued to appear at Shiloh, and there He revealed Himself to Samuel through His word.

The word ‘Shiloh’ means ‘place of resting’.

It’s in a place of resting that God reveals Himself to us.

How is your commitment to rest going?

In your place of rest, how is your commitment to listening going?

In this place of resting, God reveals Himself, and He mainly does this through His Word.

The best way to read and meditate on the Bible is to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what God is like, then look to find Him in His Word.

It is imperative that we read God’s Word for the purpose of communing with Him and receiving what He wants to reveal to us. This posture is about relationship and it is founded in humility.

I can’t stress enough the part that saturation in God’s Word leads to increased revelation from God’s Word. The Bible is such a gift from God to us!
