Good morning people who are learning to trust God fully
Our security comes from having a revelation that God is always sovereign.
Psalm 93:1-2 NIV The Lord reigns, He is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Your throne was established long ago; You are from all eternity.
God is from all eternity and His throne – the place where God sovereignly rules from – was established long ago. God is not a recently appointed monarch but rather He is the eternal God who has always and will always reign above all. What a blessed assurance it is to serve the sovereign God from all eternity!
Psalm 97:1 NIV The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.
Our joy comes from knowing the Lord reigns; that He is sovereign.
Do you have a revelation of God’s sovereignty in your life?
You see, God either reigns or He doesn’t. He’s either sovereign or He’s not. He’s either Lord or He’s not.
Here’s a really important question:
Do you believe that when you are submitted to the Lordship of God, nothing can happen to you that is not God allowed?
If we don’t believe this, we are placing man or circumstances, not God, in the place of sovereignty in our lives.
Over the next few days I want to walk through some people’s lives from the Bible. I pray we all receive a fresh revelation of the sovereignty of God in our lives.
