Good morning people who desire to think like Jesus thinks

I am drawn to the thought of being spiritually minded. Let me try to articulate this thought that is going through my brain.

My focus has always been on making a choice to think godly when presented with an option. This is based in knowing God’s Word. In fact, I don’t believe we can be spiritually minded without being Word based.

I do not disagree with this thought but I wonder if there is a deeper level available?

I wonder if we can live in a state of perpetual spiritual mindedness? In other words not moments of decision but rather so filled with God’s Spirit and God’s Word, so intimate with Him that we continually have the mind of Christ.

Galatians 5:25 NKJV If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

I Corinthians 2:10b-12, 16 NKJV …For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God…For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

My prayer is, “God help me to be spiritually minded, not just in a moment of decision, but as a lifestyle.” May we all think more like Jesus does.
