Good morning people who live with the right perspective

It’s so easy to live in the here and now. We need to live in light of all God’s promises: they are yes and amen.

Did you know there is a promise that Jesus is coming back again?

Matthew 24:30 At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

Did you know there is a promise that we will spend eternity in God’s Presence if we have received Him as our Lord and Saviour?

1 John 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

Did you know there is a promise of no more pain and suffering?

Isaiah 65:17-19 Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in My people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.

These promises are the joy that is set before us (Hebrews 12:3-4). We need to daily lift up our eyes to these wonderful promises from God.

This life is so brief in light of eternity. Let’s live now in light of eternity. Let’s make decisions now in light of eternity. Let’s celebrate now in light of eternity.
