The Bible is clear on the power of the tongue.

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

God created the heavens and the earth from a spoken word. We are created in His image; we too create with our words.

We have the ability to talk ourselves free or talk ourselves into bondage.

We have the ability to talk ourselves joyful or to talk ourselves into despondency.

We have the ability to talk ourselves into having a good day regardless of the challenges or to talk ourselves into a miserable day by those same circumstances.

We have the ability to choose our words, and as a result, choose how our life goes.
