Good morning overcoming people of the Living God

Revelation 12:10-12 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”

Satan is defeated! He was defeated at the cross of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago and he can be defeated by us in our lives today. Here’s a few keys.

1. Pray the blood of the Lamb over your mind. The children of Israel applied the blood over the doorposts so the destroyer could not enter; he had to pass by. The blood of Jesus is powerful but we must apply it to our lives.

2. Declare your own testimony. We can’t rely on the faith or experience of other Believers; we must know God for ourselves. If God has saved you then that is the greatest miracle of all. Boldly declare “God has done this for me! Once I was lost but now I am found. Once I was…but now I am…”

3. Live life fully surrendered to the Lordship of Christ. James 4:7 tells us ‘Submit to God, resist the devil and he must flee’. The FIRST key here is submission to God’s authority in our lives and SECOND is resisting the devil. We must keep the order correct.

4. Remind the devil of his future. SATAN IS DEFEATED AND HIS FUTURE IS VERY BLEAK! Tell him, remind him, let him know…he does it to us and it is powerful…let’s remind him!

Church, Satan has NO POWER over a Christ-submitted Believer! Sure he can attack us like he did to Job but we can stand strong and we will succeed! Don’t listen to his accusations!
