Good morning contented people

Have you ever had one of those moments when the Holy Spirit stops you mid sentence with a challenge to how you are thinking? I recently had one.

I was at work with e-mails piling up, lists that were growing fast and a sense of ‘lots on’. I’d just finished a meeting with Mark and he asked “You happy?” The Holy Spirit caught me mid response which was going to be “Not as happy as I’ll be when I’ve cleared some of these things off my list!”

It is so easy to live life with the philosophy “I’ll be happy when…” For each of us it may be something different. Here’s a few words you might put at the end of this sentence.

I’ll be happy when…I’ve finished this job
