Good morning people who are empowered by God

Exodus 14:13-14 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Fear originates from the Enemy and love originates from God. It is fear that causes people to run rather than stand firm.

If you remember God’s instructions to Joshua in Joshua 1, God told him three times to be strong and courageous. God was telling Joshua to not allow fear to get into his spirit and to not run from the battle.

Fear results in withdrawing and shrinking back. But as Believers in Jesus Christ and ones empowered by the very Spirit of God, we can stand our ground in the face of extreme opposition. And here’s the reason why…

We never stand alone!!!

“Oh, Holy Spirit speak to us right now I pray.”

We do not stand in our own strength; we stand in God’s fullness of power! We do not stand in our own ability: we stand with God’s wisdom and unmatched ability! It is not ME standing there; it is US – God and me. Glory be to God!!!

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

“All things” includes standing firm. Do not let fear and intimidation cause you to run or shrink back. Stand firm and see what God can do!
