#4091 – Restful Advancement

Good morning people who forcibly take hold of rest

Please read the following three scriptures together:

Matthew 11:11-12 NIV Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence (it is forcibly advancing), and violent people have been raiding it (taking it by force).

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Matthew 6:9-10 NIV This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.

This is what I feel Father is saying: “Rest is the state of heaven.”

There is no panic, no rush, no wars, no fear, no comparison, no pain in heaven.  Jesus declared, “It is finished!” The Father seated Jesus at His right hand and placed all things under His feet.

So if we want ‘heaven on earth’ I believe we need to forcibly take hold of rest – nobody is going to give it to us but Jesus.
