Good morning people who stop and pause to be still and know God

I’ve just read a line in a book that said, ‘She found the stillness refreshing’.

I believe this is a prophetic invitation to every person today.

We live in such a fast-paced, hectic world that is consumed by ‘doing’. Our spirituality is even measured by ‘how much we do’.

Laziness is not God’s design, but nor is craziness under the disguise of fruitfulness.

There is an invitation for us all today (and tomorrow and the next day) to know the absolute truth of these wonderful scriptures:

Psalm 46:10 NIV He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 23:1-3 NIV The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
