#4065 – Noble Character

Good morning people whose life follows and flows from your beliefs

Acts 17:10-12 NIV As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was TRUE. As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.

Here’s what I see in this scripture:

  • Being of noble character is not about casually hearing, but it is about eagerly receiving.
  • Being of noble character is not about occasionally reading, but it is about diligently examining.
  • Being of noble character is not just about believing something, but it is about believing THE TRUTH.
  • The result of eagerly receiving, diligently examining and believing truth is many will believe.

May we all be like the Bereans.
