Good morning right thinking people of God

We must not only change our thinking in order to live right, we must then guard our minds.

Proverbs 4:23 GW Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from it.

This word ‘guard’ has the thought of a ‘garrison’; an impregnable fortress. It reminds me of the following verse.

Proverbs 18:10 The Name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.

When we run into the Name of the Lord, we are safe because His Name is an impregnable fortress. It is impossible for the enemy to control us in this place of the garrison which is Christ’s Name.

This is the level of guarding that is required in our minds. We must ensure our minds are impregnable from the world’s thoughts and philosophies. Guarding our minds takes effort; huge effort but it is essential. This must become our greatest priority in life because we will live our lives based on what we think.
