Good morning people who

Matthew 3:16-17 NKJV When He had been baptised, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

As I continue to lean in, I love the connection between Jesus’ obedience to His Father and the open heaven He experienced and walked in.

This is Father’s desire for you and I today.

An open heaven signifies no restrictions or barriers between God and us.

An open heaven is about access to the spiritual realm; the eternal realm where God exists.

Jesus’ act of obedience, even when it didn’t seem necessary due to His sinlessness, resulted in an open heaven.

Our obedience does the same.
