Good morning people who follow your High Priest to the throne of grace

Hebrews 4:15 NIV For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to empathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.

Jesus was tempted in every way, just like us. This means what it says. Jesus was fully man. He had opposing desires in many appetites of His natural life, just like you and I do.

We really need to get a revelation of this, because there is freedom connected to it.

But there is also a need to follow His example of saying NO to these opposing desires; these temptations.

In the wilderness, He was talking to His Father. In the garden, He was talking to His Father. We are called to do the same.

Hebrews 4:15-16 NIV For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to empathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Our help is from our Father and He is a God of grace. Let’s go to Him, to His throne of grace, where He is with His Son Who is making intercession for us.

I pray you are strengthened by Father today and that you are empowered to say NO to temptation and YES to your Father in heaven.
