#4016 – Fleeing Yet Free

Good morning people who are spiritually free while facing natural difficulties

(Just before I share today’s BIY, I apologise for the technical hitch we had that stopped the last few days of BIY being sent out. To read the missing days – or anytime you don’t receive BIY – please go to http://www.believinginyou.com.au )

Matthew 2:13-15 NKJV Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.” When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

Jesus never experienced a moment when He was not free.

As a perfect Man and as the Second Adam restoring Father’s original design and mandate for Humanity, Jesus lived completely free in His Father’s love and acceptance.

Yet He was physically taken to a place that is synonymous with slavery to God’s people (Egypt), and He was taken there because of a physical threat to His life…

…but He still lived in complete freedom with His Father.

Sometimes we give too much power to the natural realities that signify a loss of freedom.

It is not a denial of the reality that is needed, but an elevation of a greater spiritual reality.
