#4009 – As A Baby

Good morning people who worship God in every season of life

Matthew 2:1-2 NKJV Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

When Jesus was a baby, He was worthy of worship, honour and awe.

Dependent, messy, crying, needy…not able to prophesy, perform miracles or raise the dead…not yet risen, not yet ascended, not yet sitting at the right hand of the Father in heaven…but worthy of worship, honour and awe.

In our lives, Jesus is worthy of our worship, honour and awe when He answers our prayers, heals our bodies, saves our loved ones and when we feel His presence, love and peace.

In our lives, Jesus is worthy of our worship, honour and awe when we don’t hear His voice, don’t see His ways, don’t receive the miracle and don’t experience His presence, love and peace.

The wise men came to worship Jesus when He was only a baby.

Why?

Because He is always worthy of worship, honour and awe.
