Good morning people who live in the prophetic fulfilment of Jesus’ life

Matthew 1:22-23 NKJV So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

The name ‘Jesus’ was prophetic because it means ‘Jehovah is salvation’ (Strong’s g2424). Jesus fulfilled this.

The name ‘Immanuel’ (Emmanuel) was also prophetic because it means ‘God with us’ (Strong’s g1694). Jesus also fulfilled this.

Sometimes I think we gloss over the truth and the reality that God Himself stepped down into our reality and was literally with us. Full comprehension eludes us.

This act itself is undeniable proof of God’s love.

Without indescribable love being the motivation, the One Who is immeasurably Superior would never have stepped down into, dwelt with, and been subjected to those who were immeasurably inferior.

God with us – it is still true today!
