Good morning people who make wise choices
Have you ever wondered when it’s too late for people to make a decision for Christ? Some people may hold to the belief, or at least the hope, that we can still change our destiny on the other side of the grave. The Bible makes it clear, there’s no changing our position on the other side of the grave.
Luke 16:25-26 But Abraham replied, “Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.”
Some may accept that we need to make eternal decisions on this side of death but in the same breath honestly believe that they still have time to make that decision later. As mentioned previously, no one has a guarantee of when our time is up. We can’t play games with our lives; we can’t afford to live for the moment and the pleasures of life while neglecting our walk with God. God by His grace may give us several more decades to live but the equal truth is He may say “Time’s up” in a moment’s time.
Today is the day to live right. Today is the day to walk right. Today is the day to honour God and others with our decisions that we make. Today is the day that may determine our eternity.
