#3808 – In Heaven

Good morning people who have a spiritual perspective when you pray

Matthew 6:9 NIV This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.”

Jesus instructs us to pray to our Father, just like He did, and like He does even now for us.

But after the words, ‘Our Father’, Jesus felt it necessary to say, ‘in heaven’.

Therefore, it is important.

Heaven is not a natural location, nor is it a physical location. We must always remember that God is a Spirit and He eternally exists outside of what we naturally comprehend or can even imagine.

“So, what is Jesus trying to get our attention on with these words?”

This is what I felt Father say to me in this download:

Prayer is an acknowledgement that the spiritual is greater than the natural.

Prayer is not just our Father in our mess, in our problems, in our issues, in our questions, in our reality. It’s not just about bringing Father down to our level.

Prayer is about us coming up to our Father, approaching Him spiritually, beyond the natural, into His realm and His reality.

Prayer is a spiritual thing, and we are told by Jesus to pray to “Our Father, in heaven.”
