Good morning people who put on garments that suit them

Psalm 33:1 NIV Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him.

Some clothes make us look good. Some don’t.

Some clothes fit like a glove. Some hang like a sack.

And truthfully, what we wear doesn’t really matter in light of eternity.

But there are some things that we ‘put on’ that do matter, and ‘praising God’ is one of the most important.

I love the language of this verse: It is fitting for the upright to praise Him.

I read this and think that our praise fits us perfectly. In other words, praise looks good on us!

Now, praise is not about us and how we look; it’s not about how it looks to us.

Praise is for God, and the exhortation of this scripture is that praise from us looks good to God!

So go on then, get your praise on today and look good to God!
